Head south-east from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park at the foot of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. After a two-night stay of encounters with wildlife, travel north-west through Kenya’s fertile highlands of tea and coffee farms, arriving at Lake Naivasha for one night. Then travel across the rift escarpment and head south-east, passing the dormant Longonot volcano towards the Maasai Mara for your final two nights. This reserve is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem in Tanzania.

Journey Overview
Day 1: Nairobi To Amboseli
Upon arrival at JKIA Airport, you will head towards the Amboseli National Park, teeming with wildlife and especially home to elephants. Reach your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.
Day 2: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drives give you maximum opportunity to spot the wide variety of animals at different times of day. Return to the lodge for meals. Overnight in Amboseli.
Day 3: Amboseli To Naivasha
After an early breakfast, travel west for a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley and the dormant Longonot volcano. Continue to Lake Naivasha with its Crescent Island. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Naivasha.
Day 4: Naivasha To Maasai Mara Conservancy
After an early breakfast, head towards Narok, district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. After Narok you’ll travel across farmland, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Maasai Mara and your lodge. Overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day 5: Maasai Mara Conservancy
Today will be spent exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara, starting early with a game drive before breakfast, and returning to the lodge for meals. Overnight in lodge.
Day 5: Departure Day
After breakfast you’ll depart the Maasai Mara and head back over the wheat and barley farms to Narok. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners during World War II. You’ll arrive in Nairobi around midday. Once in the city, you will be transferred to the JKIA Airport for your onward international flight.
